    Millenium Arts Project - Brisbane

    Millenium Arts Project - Brisbane

At the time of construction, the Millenium Arts Project was the largest scale job Bell Scaffolding had taken on. Announced in 2000, the Millenium Arts Project was a major commitment by the Queensland Government to upgrade and expand arts and cultural facilities throughout Queensland. The project represents the most significant investment in the arts in this state in more than 30 years and one of the largest arts infrastructure projects undertaken in Australia. Arts Queensland is the leading agency for the Queensland Government in the Millennium Arts Project. In Brisbane the Millennium Arts Project at the Cultural Centre, opened in December 2006, includes the new Gallery of Modern Art, the redeveloped State Library of Queensland and recreational and outdoor spaces which overlook and engage the Brisbane River.
