    Gateway Upgrade Project - Brisbane

Brisbane's $1.88 billion Gateway Upgrade Project is the largest bridge and road project in the history of Queensland. Delivered by Queensland Motorways in partnership with Leighton Abigroup Joint Venture (LAJV), the Gateway Upgrade Project includes construction of a second Gateway Bridge, refurbishment of the existing bridge, as well as an upgrade of 20km of motorway from Mt Gravatt-Capalaba Road in the south, to Nudgee Road in the north. The Second Gateway Bridge is expected to open late 2010, with both bridges being fully operational by mid 2011.
