This includes our own people, other contractors and members of the community who may come into contact with the site. We ensure that all employees are familiar with, and understand their OH&S obligations. This is achieved in the following ways:

    • Involve our team in workplace health and safety matters

    • Employ suitably trained and qualified OH&S personnel
    • Meet legislative requirements
    • Provide adequate resources to meet OH&S requirements
    • Ensure training and inductions take place
    • Provide site safety plans and risk analysis
    • Produce Documentation and Safe Work Method Statements

Our Workplace Health & Safety Plans address the above points and are compliant with the relevant Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice, Advisory Standards and Australian Standards as they apply in all States and Territories where Bell Scaffolding undertakes contract work. Our Supervisors are also expected to understand the plan, know their responsibilities and the procedures and actions required by all Bell personnel to ensure the safest workplace possible on all of our projects.

All scaffolding is erected in accordance with the Bell Scaffolding Erection Manual, and Work Method Statements are issued to cover the erection of any non-standard applications. All people engaged at any Bell Scaffolding site accept their obligations and responsibilities as detailed in the Plan.
